NATURE OF THE IUFP; teaching methods, examination and certification

The IUFP at broad concept is scheduled to commence in September of every year. It is a one-year full –time programme which engages traditional and modern teaching methods, such as lectures, seminars, tutorials, group work, student presentations and internet resourced-based learning. At the end of the programme, assessment is done via written examinations which are held twice a year in June and December (2 hours for Core subjects and 3 hours for Elective Subjects). Students will undertake the examinations within the premises of Broad Concept International and Entrepreneurship Hub, but with Invigilators appointed by IUFP Global Education able to visit Broad concept during the examination period unannounced to oversee the conduct of the examinations and produce a report.

It is important to note that the elective subjects of the IUFP are benchmarked on the Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR) specifications, which meet the requirements of the Common Criteria (Qualifications and Curriculum Authority) and the Advanced Level Qualification Specific Criteria. The programme is a condensed GCEAS and A2 and designed to be more intensive and wider in scope than the standard GCE A Level course.

On successful completion of the IUFP at Broad concept, students are awarded the IUFP Completion Certificate on the recommendation of the IUFP Assessment Committee, which reports to the IUFP Academic Advisory Board.
