Frequently Asked Questions

The International University Foundation Programme (IUFP) is a one year full - time pre - degree course, which offers students an alternative entry route to leading universities in 5 continents (Africa, Australia, Middle- East, North- America and Europe) for degree courses.
The programme is aimed at international students, including those based in the United Kingdom and seeking direct admittance at leading Universities without the need to undertake a two-year GCE 'A ‘level course.
The IUFP is designed to be completed over a period of one academic year (9 months) for the Standard Scheme, though students enrolled on the Intensive Scheme can complete the course in six months (usually between January and June).
Broad Concept International (for now) runs the IUFP standard scheme which is built to run from September to June of the following year.

Prospective IUFP students must have completed Secondary or High School. They must possess 5 Credits at WASSCE (or equivalent) which must include English language and Mathematics. IUFP students must be at least 16 years old, though applicants desiring to progress to University of Greenwich must be at least 15 years old at the start of the IUFP course at a Partner School.
Admission for IUFP students in Broad Concept International runs from August to September every year. Late entries can still be allowed till Mid - September.
Classes start by September (this is for core subjects), students will take three compulsory core subjects and write examinations for the core subjects in December.
While classes start for elective courses (a student is required to select three elective subjects out of twelve) in January and end in June. The examination for elective subjects takes place in early July.
For IUFP students studying in Broad Concept International and Entrepreneurship Hub, examinations take place within our premises. Though, examination scripts are marked by IUFP examiners and moderated in the United Kingdom by Academics and Subject Convenors retained by London College of Business and Law.
The results of the core subjects will be out by January.
The results of the elective subjects will be out by early August.
Bespoke E-books for the IUFP curriculum are provided via the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) on the IUFP Portal. Hence, students and parents are not required to buy books.
If you are planning to progress to a university in Australia, Canada, Mauritius or UAE, you are required to undertake the IELTS course and obtain an overall band score of 6.5, as it is one of the requirements of universities in both countries. For applicants wishing to progress to University of Hertfordshire or St. Mary's University, Twickenham, London in UK, IELTS is required.
Our successful candidates can gain admission into Universities in Australia, Canada, Mauritius, United Arab Emirates and The United Kingdom.
Yes, it is. However, it can be optional for candidates who would choose to leave outside.
Yes, payments can be made in two installment.
